Captivating audiences with her luminous voice and profound musicality

Olga Dubois, Soprano

Biography

Olga Dubois, born in 1983 in Ekaterinburg, Russia, is a distinguished soprano whose passion for music was ignited at a young age. From the age of six, she was a member of the Ural Philharmonic Choir, performing across China, Austria, Romania, and Sweden, and contributing to the choir's success in international competitions.

At seventeen, Olga began her formal training in classical singing under the tutelage of Nadejda Kuteneva at the Ural State Conservatory. Her exceptional talent was recognized through numerous accolades, including victories at the Odessa Classical Singing Competition in 2003 and multiple wins at the Russian Romance and Song competition in her hometown.

In 2011, Olga relocated to Brussels, Belgium, where she has since captivated audiences with her performances at esteemed venues such as the Brussels Parliament, Flagey’s Studio 4, and the Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne in France. Her repertoire spans opera arias, lieder, and Russian Romantic melodies, delivered with fluency in Latin, Russian, Italian, German, French, and English.

Beyond her performing career, Olga is the visionary founder of Soprane.be, an initiative dedicated to making opera accessible to children and families through engaging and interactive programs. Her commitment to music education and community engagement underscores her belief in the transformative power of the arts.

Currently, Olga is preparing for significant operatic roles, including Violetta in La Traviata and Manon in Manon Lescaut, under the guidance of tenor Alexandre Maslennikov-Swistounoff in Brussels. Her recent triumph at the XI° Concours Lyrique International “Bell’Arte” in 2019 further cements her status as a rising star in the operatic world.
